UPDATE Algorithm Insights - October 2024

Our Update Algorithm Insights, leverages two extensive datasets. The first, from AuthoredUp, includes 621,833 posts—459,648 (~74%) from 27,705 personal profiles and 162,185 (~26%) from 10,750 company pages. A second dataset, contributed by Just Connecting, features 53,766 posts from 1,320 personal profiles and 168 company pages.

Together, these posts span over 20 languages, with English dominating at 67%, followed by Spanish, German, and French. Our primary focus was tracking changes since LinkedIn™'s 2024 Algorithm Update, which was released in February.

To ensure accuracy, we conducted thorough preprocessing, including imputing missing values, removing outliers, reducing noise, and normalizing text. Regular consistency checks were also performed to maintain data reliability throughout the process.
